Commerce Vision is led by an executive team spanning development, technology, consulting and sales. This team has over 100 years experience working with business across the globe delivering quality eCommerce solutions to create value for their customers.
John Farnea – Managing Director
John’s journey in IT started like many with a keen interest for software development on the Apple II and IBM PC. Some 30 years on John is still passionate about developing and delivering business applications that are elegant and simple in design but solve complex business problems.
In partnership with Andrew Rogencamp, and David Bickerstaff in 1992 he built an IT consulting practice to enhance, implement, and sell PRONTO software in Queensland.
In 2001, John had a vision to build a company that would develop, and support industrial strength eCommerce applications for B2B and B2C. That company is Commerce Vision – one of Australia’s leading eCommerce solutions provider.
John is a qualified CPIM, and apart from his role as Managing Director leads the technology direction of Commerce Vision.
Andrew Rogencamp – Director, Consulting Services
Andrew’s IT career began soon after completing a Commerce Degree in 1989. Charged with leading a team to implement PRONTO into an IT distribution company, Andrew quickly became expert in business process and ERP systems.
In the decade from 1992 to 2001, Andrew built an IT consulting practice to implement PRONTO software. Understanding the value that could be created through eCommerce, Andrew has focussed since 2001 on delivering eCommerce business solutions.
Today Andrew is the Director of Consulting Services for Commerce Vision and leads a team responsible for implementing Commerce Vision’s eCommerce and mobile commerce solutions. Andrew is a qualified Accountant and has worked implementing ERP and eCommerce solutions across Australia, NZ, UK and US for 25 years.
Troy Brady – Director, Customer Services
Troy’s IT career began as a software developer in 1988 writing a database engine, and installing Wide-Area-Networks. In the early 90’s Troy joined one of Pronto’s largest customers, as a Pronto software developer and network specialist. This role grew over 10 years, culminating in Information and Infrastructure Manager before leaving in 2001 to join Commerce Vision and develop the first versions of Customer Self Service.
Today Troy leads a team responsible for supporting Commerce Vision’s customers, whilst continuing to build and ensure their hosted infrastructure is world class.
Over the last 20 years Troy has been awarded numerous accreditations including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Product Specialist (MCPS), and Cisco Certified Network Professional - Security (CCNP Security)
David Bickerstaff – Director, Sales and Marketing
David recognised the value of management information systems after working for several years in logistics in Australia and the UK.
Over the last 30 years David has worked with companies across Australia and overseas delivering IT systems to support large and medium business across the manufacturing, distribution and finance sectors including senior roles with Prometheus (now PRONTO), PeopleSoft and SAP.
David is responsible for Sales and Marketing at Commerce Vision and is a qualified CPIM.
Christian Kohl – Development Manager
Christian started his IT career working with ERP systems to support the FMCG and Distribution sectors whilst completing his formal studies in 2001.
Today Christian’s duties include providing leadership and guidance to plan and execute development projects for the Commerce Vision product suite. As development of our best in class applications is critical to our customers’ success, Christian not only needs to provide the planning and execution of our roadmap but also coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance and career development.
Christian qualified in 2002 with a Bachelor of Information Technology with 1st class honours. He also is a Microsoft Certified Professional.
